Progress - 5

I really want to see the tunic so I have been sewing for hours and have made much progress. I think it will be finished this week.

I found a sheet in a rich berry wine which I will use for the lining.

I haven't completed the purple over stitching yet but this is the back piece.

I had debated whether to make a hood or a collar. I think I will stick to the collar but I will make my final decision after piecing the tunic and trying it on.

I will be making zippered pockets as per my original plan because after stiching the patchwork together it is not as stiff as I thought it would be .

I have a large selection of upcycled zippers and need to find 2 in there.
