Igquiltfest2024

Updated: Mar 10

I have joined late this year - 31 days of quilt related posts in March.

Today's post caught my eye. The prompt for Day 9 of #igquiltfest is “Fabric Storage

I have so many different sizes of fabrics for different types of quilts. From scraps just a few centimetres in size to sheet sized , literally sheets - sized pieces. How do I store them all.

My tiny scraps which I use to create my ScrapFabric quilts are stored in plastic upcycled peanut butter bottles.

The next size which is slightly larger for my one inch magic fabric quilts I keep in different colored upcycled plastic peanut butter bottles. Yes I eat lots of peanut butter :)

My one inch magic fabric scraps sorted according to seasons

My fabric for crumb quilting is stored in seasonal boxes - a box per season

I like using transparent boxes because I can see what I have

The studio stays neat and tidy

there are online pdf tutorials and video classes available to purchase

The tutorials are available here on Etsy

and here on my site

and the videos classes can be viewed here on my site after purchase
